We produced a video about the Israeli/French artist Lior Gal in a series of artist portraits. It was created on the occasion of Gal's solo exhibition "Lactic Transformation" in October 2022 at the Tapetenwerk in Leipzig, Germany. The exhibition was dedicated to Jill Silverman van Coenegrachts (1952-2022).
“Gal is an artist of uncompromising standards, like the mystics before him, he seeks the unseen, the little-known, the exceptionally lost moments and objects. They rally before him and if one were to believe in forces greater than our own, I imagine these things just appear before his singing eyes. Seen only through the lens of his camera, or in these more recent works, capturing it from a place in the landscape they call it, take me. Sculptures and installations take shape from these lyrical flights in real time”. Jill Silverman van Coenegrachts

Joakim Eskildsen
We produced a video about Danish documentary photographer Joakim Eskildsen, as part of an ongoing artist portrait series we started in 2020.
Joakim Eskildsen (born 1971, Copenhagen) lives in Germany. He began photography at a very young age, apprenticing with Rigmor Mydskov, the royal photographer to the Danish court, before moving to Finland to study photography bookmaking at Aalto University's School of Arts, Design and Architecture. from Helsinki, where he graduated in 1998 with a Master's Degree in Photography.
In his work, Eskildsen is demonstrating an innate sense for capturing intimacy with his subjects. Her ability to focus on what she feels is the essential element of a given image that gives it a life of its own. Her work evolved around her numerous photographic journeys, which were documented in monographs, often depicting communities on the fringes of society.
NK Doege
We produced a video about NK Doege in an artist portrait series. NK Doege is a visual artist who lives and works in Leipzig. NK Doege's art is shown in international solo and group exhibitions and his work is represented by public and private collections.
Dr. Tina Simon on NK Doege: “NK Doege's work raises a number of questions, from what is the work, considering its material properties, to what work could it be, while also questioning the adequacy and relevance of the form, the color and dimension for multiple sensory possibilities. . (…) Instead of a logical reference to the world, anti-illusionism reigns, while the mental tools with which the viewer has practiced the cultural skill of dissolving or excavating meaning are here of no value. But beyond its independence, with greater distance and in second place -if you like- a marvelous cosmos opens up, since the brush, the pigment, the support, the technique -the traditional elements of the genre- have a life of their own. the work of NK Doege. ”

We produced a video about Lior Gal in an artist portrait series. Lior Gal is a French-Israeli photographer and visual artist (Tel Aviv, 1977) who lives and works in Brussels. Gal began his artistic career in photography and gradually added a new pictorial dimension through collage and sculpture. In relation to this, the issues of time and space are present in the artist's work.
Gal reworks her photos, often portraying a clash of two seemingly opposite worlds. At the same time, he frees your work from the weight of the materials and gives it a sense of detachment. His work has been shown in group and solo shows from Paris to Los Angeles.
martin werthmann
We produced a video about Martin Werthmann in a series of artist portraits. Martin Werthmann (born 1982) is a German artist who lives and works in Berlin. He prominently dedicated his work to the woodcut genre. His monumental pieces are captivating in their radically new use of form. They behold an aesthetic that places the vague and diffuse center stage, clearly portrayed in his set design for last year's performance of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's opera “Die tote Stadt” at the Theater Bremen.
The notion of space plays a significant role in his work. The classical space created by perspective is not emphasized, but space as a sensory experience in which human existence in all its facets finds expression. The artist sees his prints less as images and more as installations, constituting a spatial immersion into which the viewer is immersed ever deeper.

David Zucco
We produced a video on Davide Zucco in a series of artist portraits. Davide Zucco (Belluno, 1981) is an artist whose production is guided by a strong connection with the environment that surrounds him. After his training period in Venice and residing for many years in New York, Zucco now lives and works in Berlin.
At the base of his research is the need to elaborate and oppose the exasperated anthropocentrism of modernity, reusing its industrial waste in new forms, objects and forms that transcend their original functionality. While he focuses on the use of materials and the object itself, a variety of aesthetic strategies and mediums are channeled in Zucco's practice. Leaving a residue of geological temporality, the artist's work distances itself from an understanding of time as a linear and functional concept.
